 Secret Santa

I was not very satisfied with the gift Santa gave me on Christmas. I like everything to be even not odd. When I went out to play, my friend Shiven was telling us that he had gotten 13 gifts. I then thought why not make the number of gifts 14. We played for about two hours. When I came back, I sat down with my thinking notebook. I suddenly remembered that my friend Aanya had got a slime ball as a Christmas gift. But when she  was playing with it it accidently got torn. Just then I found my old bottle of dried-up slime. I thought I should give everyone something related to slime as children really enjoy playing with it. I then told my father my plan. We ate lunch and went to buy the slime ball. When we went down the shop had sold all the slime balls and didn't have any left. So I bought 6 bottles of slime for 6 of my friends and one for myself.  We wrapped them and wrote a suspicious note. ‘Catch me if you can. Secret Santa. At 10:00 P.M. I hung the gifts outside everybody’s house. Next morning, People kind of figured out it was me but I had a plan. As soon as they thanked me I said "What gifts I thought you gave the gifts. I got a bottle of slime. What did you get?" I knew everybody had gotten a bottle of slime. I was just acting so that nobody would know it was me. People tried to figure out but after a while they gave up. But the Question Mark of the mysterious gifts is still in their mind. Till date nobody knows who the Secret Santa is. Do you?

Boom Boom - Pop Pop

As we all know, Diwali is just around the corner, on 14 Nov. People have already started burning crackers. When India was in complete lockdown, do you remember seeing clear blue skies? Burning these many crackers will make sure that we never see clear blue skies ever again (until the next complete lockdown). Crackers actually create air pollution and noise pollution. Fuljhadi ( Sparklers) pollute more than normal crackers. So if you think otherwise and burn them, then you’re wrong. But if you really want to burn crackers then burn Pop pops. They might not be loud, noisy crackers but they will give you the feel of burning crackers. Pop pops hardly create any pollution  so it’s a win-win. You can burn crackers and the nature doesn’t get harmed. Hope you will contribute to saving the clear blue skies for the future generations. That way we will be doing something that our ancestors couldn’t! Happy Diwali !!!!!
