Child Marriage India has a long history of Child Marriage. This tradition has been in India since before the 1750s. People worked on abolishing Child Marriage and some of them even succeeded. Child marriage is  Nowadays Child marriage is illegal in India. But in some villages people marry children illegally. Think of those poor children who have no choice but to get married. It matters not whether they love each other or not. Think about it, these children are being forced to like someone. And even if they start to like each other, they have to stay away from each other. Right now you're probably thinking what's the use. It's their personal life why go poking our nose into it. but the problem is their feelings. Its their feelings that are getting hurt. They have to live with a person whom they haven't been given time to like. I'm finding out all the information I can get from my teachers, Internet and elders. Obviously child marriage was made for a reason that was

Secret Santa •       I was not very satisfied with the gift Santa gave me on Christmas. I like everything to be even not odd. When I went out to play, my friend Shiven was telling us that he had gotten 13 gifts. I then thought why not make the number of gifts 14. We played for about two hours. When I came back, I sat down with my thinking notebook. I suddenly remembered that my friend Aanya had got a slime ball as a Christmas gift. But when she  was playing with it it accidently got torn. Just then I found my old bottle of dried-up slime. I thought I should give everyone something related to slime as children really enjoy playing with it. I then told my father my plan. We ate lunch and went to buy the slime ball. When we went down the shop had sold all the slime balls and didn't have any left. So I bought 6 bottles of slime for 6 of my friends and one for myself.  We wrapped them and wrote a suspicious note. ‘Catch me if you can. Secret Santa. At 10:00 P.M. I hung the gifts outsi

Water Wastage We all have heard the term "Water is a precious resource." But how many of us actually understand it? People are  constantly wasting water. If we keep going towards this direction then there will be no water for us to drink. Who knows maybe there will be no future generations . Animals, Humans and plants need water to grow and live. If water finishes then life on earth dies and earth will look a lot like the moon- Dry and worn out. We are already using petroleum and things like that very fast. Hydroelectric Power (Water Based electricity) is a major source of energy, so if Water gets extinct, we will lose a major source of electricity. Still very few people understand the importance of water as they think that there is enough water for now. Why worry about the future? But that is wrong. If we don't worry about the future then who will? The people in the future? I don't think so. Everybody has heard about  Water pollution. Not only does it reduce the amo

Boom Boom - Pop Pop

As we all know, Diwali is just around the corner, on 14 Nov. People have already started burning crackers. When India was in complete lockdown, do you remember seeing clear blue skies? Burning these many crackers will make sure that we never see clear blue skies ever again (until the next complete lockdown). Crackers actually create air pollution and noise pollution. Fuljhadi ( Sparklers) pollute more than normal crackers. So if you think otherwise and burn them, then you’re wrong. But if you really want to burn crackers then burn Pop pops. They might not be loud, noisy crackers but they will give you the feel of burning crackers. Pop pops hardly create any pollution  so it’s a win-win. You can burn crackers and the nature doesn’t get harmed. Hope you will contribute to saving the clear blue skies for the future generations. That way we will be doing something that our ancestors couldn’t! Happy Diwali !!!!!
